Big News from the Breeding Facility

A lot has been happening at The Rare Jungle in recent months – and we're excited to finally share some thrilling news with you.

New Theloderma Species Have Arrived

A special milestone was the expansion of our breeding groups to include two fascinating species:

• Theloderma ryabovi
• Theloderma gordoni

Both species are among the most extraordinary representatives of the genus Theloderma and are rarely found in Germany. We are therefore all the more delighted that they are now part of our future breeding projects.

First Tadpoles of Theloderma ryabovi

Especially exciting: We have already been able to raise the first tadpoles of our Ryabovis.

After extensive planning and preparation, the first developmental steps have now been successfully completed. The animals are currently developing very well, and we are curious to see how they will continue to develop in the coming weeks.

If everything continues to progress so positively, the first animals will soon be available for pre-order.

Our Mossy Frogs Also Remain Diligent

Meanwhile, our Vietnamese Mossy Frogs (Theloderma corticale) also continue to show their productive side.

New eggs are regularly laid, and the next generations are already growing. It is always fascinating to observe how new frogs gradually emerge from the small clutches.

New Terrariums in Planning

Work also continues behind the scenes.

We are currently planning several new terrariums for our breeding groups. We place particular emphasis on natural design, stable water parameters, and plenty of hiding places.

Our goal remains unchanged:

Each individual frog should receive the best possible conditions.

Outlook

The coming months promise to be exciting.

In addition to the first Ryabovi offspring, we are working on new terrariums, gradually expanding our product range, and planning further projects related to the keeping and breeding of Theloderma.
